Beautiful restaurant in amazing Lübbenau. Its a good place to have dinner after canoeing. Friendly stuff and delicious dishes. You can find there some local, traditional food, also with cucumber pickles :) Also cold, local beer from tap was tasty and very refreshing in a hot summer weather. The prices are a bit high, which is probably normal for this kind of place.

The staff try really hard here. Big smiles, checks on food. The main lady tonight was so lovely. They're unpretentious. They have a full menu of AF and alcahol hot punch for Herbst. There's 2 AF beers and even decaf coffee. They not only have water bowls for dogs but treats. There's many piscetarian and vegetarian options. I'd persuade the kitchen to add X1 vegan, a flaumkucken is easy to offer and still relatively traditional... Bitte. €20 X3 drinks, chips and salad affordable compared to the others. My friend had the Kase hot plate. It comes sporked with veg, baked potato sour cream top and salad. We also shared some Gherkins of course!

Food was very good – traditional, straightforward, not too spicy, just as expected. We also tried the Windbeutel (hope I got the name right) and really enjoyed it. The staff were wonderful: very warm, welcoming, and even spoke English, which they didn’t have to. It really made our visit one of the highlights of the day. The place itself was cozy and quiet, and the toilets and amenities were very clean. Highly recommended!

Delicious restaurant to try the original pickles from Spreewald, you can also get pickle beer, and garlic shots. Recomended for dinner after a long day in the water

I was attracted by the beautiful summery garden of this restaurant, so we decided to eat dinner there. The outdoor area is spacious and there is a lot of greenery around, I particularly found the corn hanging from the ceiling very cute. Most of the food on the menu is traditional German. We got the fried Kassler, which is a breaded cut of pork, served with a side of traditional roasted potatoes, horse radish, and local pickled cucumbers. The other dish was a pike-perch fish fillet, served with a side of lentils and German potato salad with dill and herbs. The food was really tasty it exceeded my expectations. The fish tasted very fresh and the Kassler was crunchy on the outside and the meat was soft and had a slightly smokey flavor. We ordered a giant German Windbeutel, which is basically a profiterole filled with whipped cream and cherry, it was huge, we struggled to finish it. The service was acceptable overall giving the touristy nature of the restaurant's location, I believe this is a decent option to dine around the area. The restaurant delivers on most of the categories. It was an enjoyable dinner
